Chandra is the Founder & Owner of Urban Hair Co. She has over 17 years of experience behind the chair, Specializing in precision cuts, blonding, color corrections, and extensions. When she's not behind the chair you can find her in the salon coaching, educating, and leading the team here at UHC. She also loves sharing her love and passion for the beauty industry with others by coaching others in building their careers and hitting their dream goals, both personal and professional. Outside of her profession, she enjoys spending time with her and 3 boys, family and friends. She loves concerts and traveling. In her down time, she loves reading books on personal growth and business, and furthering her education within the industry.

Rachel has been behind the chair for 9 years and is our Level 4 stylist! You will always see her working alongside, mentoring, and educating her associate! Rachel has a passion for color corrections and vivid hair colors. She also specializes in transforming her clients look with extensions to smoothing treatments! Rachel loves taking on big projects and building confidence and knowledge to the younger generation of stylists! On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family of 7, spending time in nature, traveling, and motorcycle rides with her fiancée. She loves thrifting for antiques, listening to live music and anything art.

With over two years at Urban Hair Co., Emily has quickly established herself as a talented stylist. A graduate of Paul Mitchell Lexington, she began her journey under the mentorship of Chandra and has since earned her role as a mentor herself. Emily's enthusiasm for color and extensions shines through in every transformation she creates, and she relishes the opportunity to work with foils. One of her favorite aspects of any service is chatting about pets with clients. When she’s not at work, Emily enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her beloved dogs. A true animal lover with a passion for art and music, she continually seeks to stay ahead of trends and grow in her craft.

Christina is a skilled stylist here at Urban Hair Co. with five years of experience in the hair industry. She began her career in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she developed expertise in crafting lived-in hair color, precision clipper cuts, and stylish shorter haircuts. Christina has a particular flair for balayage, always dedicated to enhancing her clients' natural beauty. Outside of the salon, Christina cherishes time with her family and indulges in her passions for reading, movies, video games, and outdoor adventures. The fall season, with its rich colors and cozy ambiance, especially inspires her.

With three years of dedicated service at Urban Hair Co., Morgan has seamlessly transitioned from managing the front desk to becoming a talented associate stylist. A graduate of Summerset Community College’s prestigious cosmetology program, Morgan’s passion for the beauty industry shines through in every appointment. Under the mentorship of Rachel & Emily, Morgan is committed to mastering her craft and enhancing clients’ confidence through expert haircare. Outside the salon, you might find her enjoying life on horseback or traveling to the beach.

Born and raised in Richmond, Jaiden is thrilled to be part of the Urban Tribe! With two years of experience in the beauty industry and training from Paul Mitchell Lexington, she’s built a strong foundation in her craft. Jaiden recently completed an intensive associate training program under our talented mentor, Emily, which has further sharpened her expertise and fueled her passion for the artistry of hair.

Specializing in blonding and lived-in styles, Jaiden is all about creating effortlessly beautiful looks tailored to each guest. For her, the best part of her work is building lasting relationships and ensuring every client feels truly valued and inspired in her chair.

Outside of the salon, Jaiden enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling (especially cruising!), and indulging in some retail therapy. She’s excited to bring her skills to this new chapter at Urban Hair Co. and hopes to see you soon for a transformational experience!

Kennedy is a Richmond, Kentucky native with a lifelong love for creativity and self-expression. She graduated from the Aveda Fredric’s Institute of Cincinnati in 2022 and has been dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best ever since. Specializing in lived-in color, Kennedy enjoys enhancing blondes, brunettes, and reds, as well as perfecting men’s cuts. She takes pride in creating natural, effortless styles that reflect each client’s individuality. Since joining Urban Hair Co. in November 2024, Kennedy has been passionate about growing in her craft and building strong connections with her guests. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s likely at a concert, spending time outdoors, or relaxing with her favorite reality TV shows. She can’t wait to bring your hair vision to life!

With a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere, she thrives on making guests feel at home from the moment they walk in. Since joining Urban Hair Co. in March 2024, she has taken on roles in scheduling, customer service, and ensuring that each guest has the best experience.

She will be attending cosmetology school soon, eager to deepen her knowledge and skills in the beauty industry. In her free time, she loves to invest in expanding her understanding of products, styles, and techniques, keeping her inspired and connected to the latest trends. She looks forward to helping clients have the best experience at the salon!
